WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE GROUPS: In an ideal world...
Please understand we will do our absolute best to organize “ideal” groups in which your athlete is challenged by every single person around them. Based on everyone’s schedule this may not always be possible. Regardless of who is in their group, from a coaching and mentoring standpoint, your athlete will always be provided with the highest quality of care and level of training possible
POST-PURCHASE: What happens next?
Let's get to work! Though not required to participate, it is highly recommended that you what days and times your athlete can attend and they will placed in an appropriate skill group from there.
- If there is not a recent waiver on record for you (within the past year), please sign and return the waiver that you receive in your confirmation email.
- It is our main goal to get athletes participating in groups that they are challenged by at least one of each of the following:
- A + (someone who is better than they are)
- A - (someone who is not as good as they are)
- An = (someone at their level)
- Organizing groups in this fashion gives all athletes a chance to better themselves in multiple different dimensions important to being a great basketball player and person. On top of pushing them to improve their skills and athleticism, we will challenge them on various levels of character building including things such as:
- Leadership
- Ownership
- Communication
- Energy
- Toughness
- Confidence
- And the list goes on...
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will you be limiting the group size?
Yes. We don't anticipate large groups, but for whatever reason the group size exceeds 10 players per half court or coach, we will add additional times for that group to disperse the numbers.
Why on the calendar are certain times split between two groups?
We will have two coaches working on these days with the groups working on separate ends of the court. This is part of our "community" model, as well as working around limited gym time. While athletes of different ages will not be working together during their sessions, we may meet occasionally as a group (with physical distance) to talk about certain mindset focuses. You can be assured that having two groups working on separate ends of the court will NOT detract from either group.
Does the sibling discount apply to cousins?
No.
There is no option for T-Shirt size or color, how do I get the correct one?
You will receive an email from me after membership and T-Shirt purchase on what size and color you'd like!
How often do the coaches get COVID-19 tested?
I personally, have been tested 6 times this year. Not because I have been worried or symptomatic, but because this is the new normal for me as a coach in wanting to make you feel confident that we are being diligent about mitigating risk.
What happens if someone tests positive for COVID-19?
Parents will be alerted, coaches will be tested, and we will take a temporary break until test results come back. If the any of the coaches results come back positive, we will take a 3 week break with a membership pause for everyone and resume when it is safe.
